Airbus delivered 46 aircraft in July
Airbus reported on Monday that it had delivered only 46 planes in July, down from 60 the previous month, due to supply shortages, and confirmed a major order from China.
Last month, Airbus cut its delivery forecast for this year from 720 to 700 planes, after gaps in the supply chain left it without enough engines, Reuters reported.
Several newly assembled and painted A320neo aircraft could be seen parked without engines outside the Airbus headquarters near Toulouse, France, last week.

During the first seven months of the year, Airbus delivered a net total of 341.
Meanwhile, Airbus booked a major order for nearly 300 planes from state-owned airlines in China, announced last month, along with a handful of orders from the Farnborough Air Show.
So far this year, Airbus has sold 843 aircraft, 656 after adjustments for cancellations.
