Colombia: Avianca announces direct flights between Cali and Riohacha

After inaugurating new operations from Cali to Cúcuta, Bucaramanga, Santa Marta and New York, Avianca announced the launch of a new route that will directly connect Cali with Riohacha, so that more travelers can fly to and from the cities of Colombia and enjoy the charm of La Guajira and its cultural and natural attractions.

The route will operate two weekly frequencies (Tuesdays and Saturdays) on Airbus A320 family aircraft with capacity for at least 150 passengers and a total offer of around 700 seats per week, providing more and better connectivity opportunities between the Pacific and the Caribbean.

Avianca and Boliviana de Aviación announce interline agreement.

“We remain committed to the connectivity of the country’s regions and to our customers so that they can increasingly enjoy destinations such as Cali and explore the richness of Riohacha directly. We now operate more than 70 routes in Colombia, with the aim of offering our customers the most powerful network in the country, while at the same time they can enjoy a flexible product tailored to each trip. We expect to be flying for the first time on November 1,” said David Alemán, Avianca’s Director of Sales for Colombia and South America.

With the launch of this operation, Avianca customers in Cali will be able to access an offer of 8 domestic and international routes, while travelers flying from Riohacha will be able to connect with Bogota, Medellin and Cali non-stop.
