For the first time in the history of Venezuelan aviation, Conviasa carried out this Friday a flight operated only by women.
Capt. Andrea Palacios, first officer Jazmín Acosta and cabin crew members Rosy Calderón, Wilmari López and Stefany González, were in charge of operating the Embraer E190 aircraft that covered the Porlamar-Maiquetía route.

It is worth mentioning that Andrea Palacios, captain of this flight and only 27 years old, is the youngest female pilot in Latin America.
The announcement was made by Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, president of Conviasa, through his Twitter account.
