Australian airline Qantas resumed scheduled flights between Sydney and Santiago de Chile on Sunday, after 32 months.
→ Qantas announces direct flights between Auckland and New York.
The route will operate four weekly frequencies (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, with capacity to transport 236 passengers.
This is not the only service between the two cities. LATAM Airlines currently operates scheduled flights with a stopover in Auckland (New Zealand).
