Air commercial operations between Colombia and Venezuela will begin this coming Monday, November 7, according to Ambassador Armando Benedetti, through his Twitter account.

Avior Airlines will not be able to land in Colombia until debts with airports are paid

On the Colombian side, the state-owned airline Satena will operate the Bogotá – Caracas route and the Venezuelan Turpial Airlines will cover the Caracas – Bogotá route.

The announcement comes one day after the meeting between Gustavo Petro and Nicolás Maduro, in which after two hours, they agreed to address economic, security, border, environmental and human rights issues.

It should be recalled that at the end of October, the Colombian Ministry of Transportation assured that a total of six companies have been authorized for the time being, three from Colombian soil and three from Venezuelan territory: Avianca, Wingo, Satena, Laser, Turpial and Avior.
