Copa Holdings, parent company of Copa Airlines, reported revenues of US$809 million in the third quarter of 2022, up 14.3% from the same period of 2019.
The company posted a profit of US$115.9 million, up from US$13.2 million in 2Q2022 and up 11.5% from US$104 million in the same quarter of 2019.

“After the losses related to the Covid pandemic, we have seen a steady improvement in our financial results,” Copa said. “The company has a proven and very solid business model, which is based on operating the best and most convenient network for travel within Latin America.”
Panama’s advantageous geographic position, low unit costs, improved on-time performance and strong balance sheet have helped the company recover from the two-year pandemic of Covid-19.
During the quarter, the company took delivery of one Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft, for a total fleet of 95 aircraft: 67 737-800s, 19 737 MAX 9s, nine 737-700s and one 737-800 cargo aircraft.
