In October, Iberia achieved, for the sixth consecutive month, the highest ranking among European airlines in terms of the punctuality of its flights, as accredited by the international consultancy Cirium -formerly FlightStats-.
Last month, the airline managed to get 86.89% of its flights, out of a total of 13,530, to their destinations on time. This figure represents an increase of almost three percentage points compared to September (84%).
→ Iberia Express to fly in winter to 20 domestic and international destinations.
These good results are part of Iberia’s efforts to offer its customers the best service, in which punctuality plays a fundamental role. In this regard, Iberia’s president, Javier Sánchez-Prieto, assures that “after a summer of many difficulties in which we managed to offer the best punctuality standards, we continue working to maintain these good figures and to make customers feel that they are at the center of our commitment. Punctuality is the great merit of Iberia’s employees, of a team that rows together in the same direction”.
At the same time, according to the Cirium ranking, Iberia has also consolidated its position among the world’s most punctual airlines, ranking sixth.
