Icelandair announced Wednesday that it will fly to Prague and Barcelona from Reykjavik by summer 2023. Both cities will connect to the airline’s extensive North American network.

The airline has previously flown to Barcelona, but Prague is a new addition for next year.

Lufthansa equips a third aircraft to collect climate data.

The route to Prague will operate from June 1 until the end of October 2023, with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Flights to Barcelona will be operated until the end of October 2023. From April to May and September to October, flights will be twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and a Thursday flight will be added from June to August.

“We are delighted to add these two great cities to our extensive summer network. This is the first time we have offered scheduled flights to Prague, and we see great opportunities in the convenient connection times with our flights to and from North America,” said Bogi Nils Bogason, CEO of Icelandair.
