LEVEL will add a new aircraft to reinforce its routes between Barcelona and America

LEVEL, the IAG Group’s low-cost, long-haul airline, announced Wednesday that it will add an Airbus A330-200 to its fleet. Thus, the company will have a total of five aircraft to operate its routes between Barcelona and the American continent.

With the new aircraft, which will enter service in the second half of 2023, LEVEL strengthens its operations in the Americas, where it is already flying to the United States, Argentina and Chile.

The new A330-200 will also feature a 9-inch personal screen at each seat to enjoy a comprehensive entertainment system with more than 400 different contents ranging from movies, series, music, local programs, podcasts to children’s animation, as well as Wi-Fi, through three different connectivity packages.

Iberia Express to operate 136 additional flights at Christmas time

“This growth responds to our desire to continue developing Barcelona’s long-haul connectivity. Today, we are the second largest operator in the Josep Tarradellas-El Prat airport corridor of Barcelona and the United States and the first operator of this same airport with Latin America”, according to Ricard Falomir, Chief Digital & Operations of LEVEL.

It has been five years since LEVEL established its base of operations in Barcelona and, since then, the commitment to the city’s long-haul connectivity has shown solid and sustained growth.

During this winter season, LEVEL is the sole operator on four of its five active routes, guaranteeing Barcelona’s connectivity with a consolidated value proposition: competitive prices and personalization of the experience through the sale of complementary products.
