President Nicolás Maduro authorized all Venezuelan airlines to reactivate their air operations with Colombia. That point was unblocked at the dinner he had a few days ago with the Colombian ambassador Armando Benedetti, who confirmed this news to Caracol Radio.
“That was the hardest point for me because it was Venezuela that put the brake, what was discussed, and I think it is the most important thing is that Maduro has already authorized all Venezuelan airlines to travel to Colombia and increase more days and more frequencies”.

The airlines that will be endorsed by the President of Venezuela will be Laser Airlines, Avior Airlines and Conviasa, which will join Turpial that is already flying since November 7.
In the case of Satena Airlines, the ambassador assured that it is already in conditions to fly the route to Venezuelan territory because the investment was made to make its airplanes profitable.
“Satena should start flying in one or two weeks because it has already acquired a different fleet.”
The idea is for all airlines to have daily frequencies between the two countries.
