Avianca announced the launch of ticket sales for the Bogota-Cusco route, which is scheduled to begin on March 27 with 4 weekly frequencies, subject to government approval.
With this proposal, the airline becomes the only air operator to directly connect the Imperial City with the Colombian capital, boosting connectivity and promoting the development of vacation and business tourism.

The route will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers and a monthly offer of almost 6,000 seats.
“We are moving forward with our plan to consolidate our route network to the most important destinations in the region. Connecting Bogota with Cusco nonstop is undoubtedly a great bet that awakens the interest of our passengers for this year,” said David Aleman, Avianca’s Commercial Director for South America.
Avianca currently has 21 weekly frequencies between Lima and Bogota from where travelers can connect to the entire network of routes that the airline operates in the Americas and Europe.
