As part of its ongoing commitment to Southern California, Alaska Airlines launched three new nonstop routes from San Diego.
Beginning June 5, the carrier will launch the San Diego-Washington, D.C. route, and beginning October 5, it will begin flights between San Diego and Tampa, Florida.

Alaska Airlines also added new daily nonstop service between San Diego and Eugene, Oregon, which will operate beginning June 15.
“Our San Diego customers were asking for more nonstop flights to the East Coast and we are thrilled to add flights to both the nation’s capital and Florida’s vibrant Gulf Coast,” said Neil Thwaites, Alaska Airlines’ California regional vice president.
With these new routes, the airline will offer 35 nonstop destinations from San Diego. This includes flights to the Northeast, Northwest, California, Mexico, Florida and the four main Hawaiian Islands, among other destinations.
