Air Lease Corporation (ALC) announced Monday that it has signed a long-term lease agreement for three new Airbus A350-900 aircraft with Air France.
The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2024 and come from ALC’s order backlog with Airbus.
The French airline currently has 20 Airbus A350-900 aircraft in its fleet.

“This strategic lease of three new A350-900s is another important step in the modernization of Air France’s long-haul fleet,” said Steven Udvar-Házy, Chief Executive Officer of Air Lease Corporation. “The Air France-KLM Group is our largest European air leasing customer, which encompasses not only Air France and KLM, but also includes Transavia Netherlands and Transavia France.”
“ALC also has nine of Airbus A321neo aircraft that they will deliver to the Group between the end of 2023 and 2026, and five Boeing 737s that they will deliver to Transavia during the first half of this year, all of which are on long-term leases,” Udvar-Házy added.
