EasyJet announced Tuesday a new route to Istanbul from Manchester, which will take off from June 9. It will be the first time the airline has operated to the airport in Turkey’s largest city, which becomes the airline’s 156th network destination covering Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
The route will be operated twice weekly (Monday and Friday), providing a direct connection for customers from the northwest to this city.

Istanbul thus joins other destinations such as Bodrum, Antalya, Dalaman and Izmir in EasyJet’s network in Turkey.
Tickets are available now with fares starting from £51.99.
“We are delighted to add the new destination of Istanbul to the easyJet network. The new route from our Manchester base to this iconic city further expands the choice we can offer our customers in the North West, both in flights and package holidays” said Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager.
