ITA Airways will expand direct connections between Italy and Brazil with four new frequencies starting in August 2023, to 11 weekly flights between Rome and Sao Paulo.
In addition, from October it will start operating a direct flight between Rome and Rio de Janeiro with weekly frequencies that will bring the number of frequencies between Brazil and Italy to 18.

“The introduction of additional frequencies on the direct connection from Rome Fiumicino to Sao Paulo is further proof of the carrier’s strong investment in the Brazilian market,” the company said in a statement.
The Italian carrier will code-share several flights with Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, GOL Airlines and LATAM Airlines to enable travelers to travel on connections to domestic destinations in Brazil.
