As part of its plan to increase point-to-point connectivity, Avianca announced its new Quito-Cancun route that will begin operations on June 15 with 3 weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and more than 4,000 seats available per month on Airbus A320 aircraft.
Avianca currently operates 35 direct weekly frequencies from Cancun to destinations such as Bogota, Medellin, San Jose and San Salvador.

“The options for tourism in Mexico and particularly in Cancun are of great interest to many travelers arriving from Central and South America and to whom today we are offering better connection options with direct flights very much in line with the new business model that the airline is implementing to offer the best of the low cost world and the best of more than 100 years of history,” said Juan Francisco Posada, Avianca’s Commercial Manager and Country Officer for Mexico.
Avianca also has 49 flights from Mexico City to Bogota, San Salvador, San Jose and Medellin, offering one of the largest connectivity offers from Mexico to Central and South America.
