Following the breakthrough expanded air transport agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Canada, Emirates will increase its frequency and offer daily flights between Dubai and Toronto from April 20.
The airline operates the route with the Airbus A380, which seats 491 passengers in Economy, Business and First Class. With these additional flights, Emirates will offer nearly 2,000 additional seats to cover the busy route, representing a 40% increase in capacity between the two cities.
→ Emirates and United Activate Codeshare Partnership
Last year, Emirates activated a codeshare partnership with Air Canada, allowing customers to enjoy seamless connectivity when flying to domestic points within Canada via Toronto. Key connections for the Arab airline’s passengers beyond Toronto include Ottawa, Winnipeg, Halifax, Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton.
Meanwhile, Air Canada customers can travel to destinations in Asia, Africa and the Middle East on Emirates’ extensive network of more than 130 destinations through its hub in Dubai.
