Last Saturday, April 1, and coinciding with the celebration of Easter week, SKY began air operations to Jauja and Tacna from Lima, becoming its 13th and 14th destination within Peru.
“We are excited to continue to grow in Peru. Our goal is to increase our network of domestic and international destinations by 2023. We are convinced that Jauja and Tacna will help us to continue consolidating our position as the most important low cost carrier in Peru, while at the same time allowing us to meet the needs of our passengers, who demanded a low cost alternative and excellent service to both cities,” said Franco Chaparro, SKY’s Sales Manager in Peru.

The airline projects that, of this total, more than 41,500 passengers will be domestic travelers, which would represent an increase of more than 40% of passengers transported compared to Easter Week 2022.
