Xiamen Airlines resumes Boeing 737 MAX flights
Xiamen Airlines resumed commercial flights with the Boeing 737 MAX on Monday, becoming the ninth Chinese airline to reincorporate the model into its operations.
The aircraft, registration B-1288, took off at 08:00 (local time) from Xiamen to Xi’an, where it landed almost three hours later.

The airline currently has a total of ten Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, but only one has been returned to commercial service.
In January, China Southern Airlines became the first Chinese airline to resume commercial flights with the Boeing 737 MAX after almost four years of downtime. Subsequently, Hainan Airlines, Air China, Jiuyuan Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Fuzhou Airlines and Lucky Air have all reintroduced the model.
