Lufthansa Group announced Tuesday that it has ordered four additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The aircraft will be purchased from Deucalion Aviation Limited, a global provider of aviation investment, financing and asset management services, and delivered this year.

Lufthansa currently operates 21 Airbus A350-900s and has ordered a further five A350-900s and ten A350-1000s through March 2023. In total, the airline has 38 firm orders for this Airbus long-haul aircraft, making it the world’s third largest customer for the Airbus A350.
The company did not disclose the value of the transaction.
