“It’s great to be back in Winnipeg to announce a new direct link between this Canadian city and Atlanta. Today’s announcement is the result of the fruitful collaboration and partnership between WestJet, the Government of Manitoba, the Winnipeg Airport Authority and other valued partners and stakeholders,” said John Weatherill, WestJet’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. “.
Codeshare partnership with Delta
Passengers traveling beyond Atlanta will have access to an extensive network and benefits thanks to WestJet’s strong relationship with Delta Air Lines. This includes codeshare flights to more than 50 connecting destinations now accessible with a single stopover from Winnipeg, the ability to earn and redeem WestJet Rewards on both airlines, and frequent flyer benefits throughout the trip.
WestJet customers have access to Delta’s extensive network with a single ticket purchased, with check-in for all flights on the first departure, tagged baggage to their final destination and lounge access for select customers.
