This Thursday, Avianca started operations of its new direct route between Quito (Ecuador) and Cancun (Mexico) offering 3 weekly flights and more than 4,000 seats available per month.
The launch of this new destination adds to Avianca’s network of 11 international routes connecting Ecuador with the world.

“We remain committed to the connectivity of our country with Latin America and with our customers to enjoy more destinations. Mexico is in the top 5 countries that Ecuadorians prefer and we have the best option to fly customizing each trip,” said Maria Beatriz Gonzalez, Avianca’s Commercial Manager for Ecuador.
The airline informed that the Mexican embassy in Ecuador has set up appointments for the visa application process for July, August and September 2023, which will allow more Ecuadorians to travel to Cancun.
Avianca currently has direct international flights from Quito to Bogota, San Salvador, San Jose, Buenos Aires, Medellin, New York and Cancun. From Guayaquil to Bogota, San Salvador and New York. And, with the domestic operation connects the cities of Quito, Guayaquil, San Cristobal, Baltra, Cuenca and Manta.
