Continuing with the objective of connecting the regions of Colombia, Avianca announced on Tuesday a new non-stop route between Medellin and San Andres, which will begin operations on July 6, 2023.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) on Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for up to 180 passengers, offering 540 seats per week each way.

“Avianca is and will continue to be on the side of the regions of Colombia and through the strengthening of our route network we are betting on the potential of Medellin, San Andres and the country. Today Avianca’s customers have an offer of more than 130 routes, with more than 4,100 flights a week,” said David Aleman, Avianca’s Sales Director for Colombia and South America.
