Copa Airlines inaugurated Tuesday its new route between Panama City and Manta, Ecuador. With this new destination, the airline reinforces its leadership in Latin America and strengthens the position of Panama and the Hub of the Americas as the main hub in the region.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing Panama at 15:10 and arriving at Eloy Alfaro International Airport at 17:28 (local time). From Manta it will take off at 18:18, arriving at Tocumen at 20:30 (local time).

This new connection becomes the third city in Ecuador where the airline operates, after Guayaquil and Quito.
“The start of flights to Manta further strengthens the connectivity offered by Copa through the Hub of the Americas located in Panama City, shortening distances and connecting more people in the continent,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.
In this way, Copa becomes the only airline to operate internationally to and from Manta, a destination known for its attractive beaches, gastronomy and for being Ecuador’s second largest tourist sea and fishing port (after Guayaquil).
