Icelandair launched its new route between Reykjavik, Iceland, and Tel Aviv, Israel, on Wednesday.
The new seasonal service will operate three weekly frequencies until October 29, 2023, on Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

“Tel Aviv fits well into our route network. In recent years, tourists from the region have shown great interest in visiting Iceland, and this new route will open up new opportunities for Icelandic tourism. In addition, there is significant demand for flights between Tel Aviv and North America,” said Bogi Nils Bogason, CEO of Icelandair.
