Colombia’s Satena announced that it will increase its flights between Bogotá and Caracas as of July 2023.
The airline will add two additional frequencies to the route (Mondays and Wednesdays), to reach a total of five weekly flights.

“This significant increase in frequencies is a response to the excellent reception by passengers from Colombia and Venezuela,” said Satena.
In that sense, the airline indicated that it made the decision to cancel the operation to Caracas from Barranquilla in order to increase frequencies through the Colombian capital.
“At Satena we are committed to the safety and comfort of our passengers. These new frequencies will further strengthen the connection between Bogotá and Caracas, facilitating travel and allowing more people to plan their trips efficiently to the Venezuelan capital,” said Óscar Zuluaga, president of Satena.
