With the delivery of bouquets of Colombian flowers to its travelers at Medellin’s Jose Maria Cordova Airport, Avianca announced that it is joining the celebration of the Flower Fair in the City of Eternal Spring with an offer of more than 20 routes and more than 700 flights a week connecting to and from Medellin with 11 domestic and 11 international destinations.
Routes available to fly from and to Medellín
Domestic: San Andres, Armenia, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Bogota, Cali, Cartagena, Cucuta, Pereira, Riohacha, Monteria and Santa Marta.
International: Guayaquil, New York, Madrid, Orlando, Mexico City, Miami, Punta Cana, San Jose, Quito and Cancun.

Medellín is also home to the more than 1,800 people who are part of Avianca, its Maintenance Center – MRO and the VIP Lounge at José María Córdova Airport. It is also one of the key bases of Avianca Cargo’s operation for the export of Colombian flowers. In fact, during this year, it has made several infrastructure changes to continue increasing its capacity offer in different seasons, including doubling its refrigeration facilities, reaching two cold rooms, which guarantee that the flowers arrive fresh at their destination.
