Panama’s Copa Airlines will add a new flight frequency on Fridays on its route between Panama City and Maracaibo (Venezuela) starting August 18, increasing from 4 to 5 flights per week.
The route is operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft with capacity for 154 passengers, 16 in business class and 138 in economy class.

Flights take off from Panama City at 12:18, arriving in Maracaibo at 15:06 (local time). From La Chinita Airport they depart at 16:16, landing in Tocumen at 17:06 (local time).
The addition of this new frequency consolidates Copa Airlines and Panama as the airline and the most relevant and important international connection point of Venezuela with the rest of the continent, operating 39 weekly frequencies from 5 destinations: Caracas with 3 daily flights, Valencia 7 weekly frequencies, Maracaibo with 5 weekly frequencies, Barcelona with 3 weekly frequencies, and since October, Barquisimeto with 3 weekly frequencies through the Hub of the Americas, located at Tocumen International Airport in Panama.
