According to the Cirium ranking for June, Avianca was recognized, for the second consecutive month, as the “World’s Most Punctual Global Airline”, with more than 17,648 flights operated in the sixth month of the year and an OTP (On Time Performance) indicator of 86.61%.
This is the result of a rigorous analysis process, led by Cirium, the largest global aviation data firm, which includes factors such as flight compliance – flights scheduled over flights operated – as well as on-time takeoffs and landings.

So far in 2023, Avianca has remained in the Top 5 most punctual airlines, ranking fourth in February, second in March and first in May and June.
“We are the most punctual airline in the world and this milestone is undoubtedly the result of the commitment of 12,000 people who will continue to give their all to ensure that our customers arrive safely and on time at their destination,” said Frederico Pedreira, Avianca’s Chief Operations Officer.
