Avianca’s LifeMiles continues to position itself as one of the best loyalty programs. This time, this was decided by the readers of USA Today. The audience voted for their favorites between July 1 and July 31, 2023 in the Best Frequent Flyer Program 2023 USA Today Reader’s Choice contest, where LifeMiles reached the #1 position.
“This recognition is the fruit of more than 12 years of dedication, innovation and focus on our customers. At LifeMiles we want our members to be able to redeem their miles easily, and to receive the maximum value for them. With this goal in mind, we want our members to be motivated to keep earning them, taking care and enhancing the value of both the miles and the program,” said Matt Vincett, CEO and President of LifeMiles.

The contest was conducted through a global survey where readers and a panel of experts nominated the best loyalty programs, based on diversity of ways to earn and redeem miles, program coverage, value delivered per mile, offer and availability to redeem the rewards customers are looking for. LifeMiles was the only Latin American program nominated, placing first and beating other programs from well-known airlines in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
In this way, LifeMiles continues to lead as the only program in Latin America to be recognized worldwide. In the last 12 years, LifeMiles has been recognized in the industry as a leading and growing loyalty program, winning more awards than any other program in the region with 14 Freddie Awards and 3 Frequent Traveler Awards.
