LATAM to increase its flights between São Paulo and Lisbon
LATAM Airlines announced Tuesday that starting in November of this year, the company will expand daily flights between São Paulo (Guarulhos) and Lisbon, operating between 10 and 11 weekly frequencies. In addition, the daily route will be operated by its largest aircraft, the Boeing 777, with capacity for 410 passengers (38 in Premium Business cabin, 50 in Economy+ and 322 in Economy). The move expands LATAM’s seat offer to the Portuguese capital by almost 90%.
According to Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil Sales and Marketing Director, “this is another strategic move by LATAM, which reinforces the company’s position as a leader in international supply in Brazil, connected to a solid network in the national territory through our hub in Guarulhos. Here, we have been working to grow where demand is strong and Lisbon is a sought-after destination for Brazilians. I am very happy to announce this significant increase to serve our customers with more flight options.”

LATAM resumed operations on the São Paulo/Guarulhos-Lisbon route in April 2021, following the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, the company has carried more than 310,000 passengers to and from the Portuguese city on board 1,400 flights.
LATAM currently operates one daily flight between Brazil and the Portuguese capital in Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with capacity for 30 customers in the Premium Business cabin, 57 in Premium Economy and 213 in Economy.
