Rutaca Airlines began flights between Caracas and Panama City

On Sunday, August 20, Venezuelan airline Rutaca Airlines began flights between Caracas and Panama City, further strengthening commercial and tourist relations between the two countries.

The route will operate two weekly frequencies (Wednesday and Sunday), in Boeing 737-300 aircraft with capacity for 160 passengers.

LATAM resumed flights between Lima and Caracas

Flights will take off from Caracas at 11:00, arriving in the Panamanian capital at 12:20 (local time). From Tocumen they will depart at 13:20, landing at Venezuela’s main airport at 16:40 (local time).

“The incorporation of Rutaca Airlines is an important event, which strengthens Panama’s air connectivity with Venezuela, as it promises to bring more tourism, trade and dynamism to the region,” commented Raffoul Arab, General Manager of Tocumen International Airport.

Panama City joins Punta Cana and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic as international destinations operated by the airline from Venezuela.
