Iberia passengers on Tuesday’s flight to Bogota, which took off from Madrid at 12:30 a.m., were in for a big surprise: in each of their seats they found an official T-shirt of one of the 20 LALIGA teams.
Joaquín, the LALIGA ambassador, encouraged them to exchange jerseys, as happens on the field of play: “Ladies and gentlemen, good morning! Who would have thought that today you would have me on the other end of the phone? … On this flight we want to celebrate with all of you the alliance between Iberia and LALIGA by giving you official jerseys of all the clubs, so that we can take our soccer and the Spanish brand to Latin America. As good traveling companions, I invite you to exchange jerseys…!
