Aerolíneas Argentinas will increase its offer by 21% for last four months of the year

Aerolíneas Argentinas announced this Saturday, for the last four-month period of the year, an average 21% increase in its seat offer compared to 2019.

Among the main novelties is the start of seasonal flights on the routes Trelew – Ushuaia (3 weekly flights from October), El Calafate – Trelew (2 weekly from October), El Calafate – Rosario (2 weekly from October), Bariloche – El Calafate (3 weekly from October), Mar del Plata – Tucumán (2 weekly from October) and the start of operations on the new route between Mendoza and Tucumán (2 weekly).

There will also be a significant increase in frequencies on the following routes:

In addition, the increase in the routes Córdoba – El Calafate and Córdoba – Iguazú to 3 and 6 weekly, respectively, stands out. Likewise, frequencies to Comodoro Rivadavia, Formosa, La Rioja, San Luis and Salta, among others, have been added.

“Aerolineas is a fundamental tool for the development of tourism and connectivity for Argentines. That is why we are permanently working on adding more flights where we see expansion possibilities. The sector will close the year with historic growth levels in the number of passengers, supply, destinations, frequencies and investments”, said Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

During July, the airline carried 1,012,774, or 12% more than in 2019. It also beat the historical record of passengers transported in a single day with 46,822.

So far this year, Aerolíneas Argentinas has carried 9 million passengers and is betting to close 2023 by far surpassing the record of almost 13 million passengers carried in 2019.
