Aeromexico, in partnership with FORMIA, ETRO and Gen Phoenix, will offer a new, more sustainable Premier Kit starting today, available on long-haul flights on its routes to Europe and Asia, which contains recyclable items that will maintain comfort and luxury. Through this kit, the airline seeks to promote environmental stewardship among its Premier One travelers.
This new kit incorporates a case made of Rpet+eLeather (premium recycled leather) from Gen Phoenix, creators of next-generation circular materials. Gen Phoenix is a strategic partner of Aeromexico and currently supplies the leather for its aircraft seats. The company converts waste leather into high-performance composite leather, giving it a new life.

Inside, this amenity contains slippers and eye mask from Rpet; a toothbrush and comb made from wheat straw; a “Field notes” pocket notebook and pen made from kraft paper; earplugs presented in kraft paper; lip balm and body lotion from ETRO presented in a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified recycled paper box.
“We are proud to continue this alliance with great experts such as FORMIA, ETRO and Gen Phoenix, which allows us to continue promoting actions to fly to a more sustainable future, and at the same time offer an improved experience for our passengers. The development of this kit is part of the commitment of Mexico’s flagship airline to adhere to a business strategy based on ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) guidelines, while maintaining the highest quality standards,” said Andrés Castañeda, Aeromexico’s Executive Vice President of Digital and Customer Experience.
