Arajet to connect Santiago de los Caballeros with Brazil, Chile and Argentina
Arajet announced Monday its new connections from Santiago de los Caballeros to Sao Paulo in Brazil, Buenos Aires in Argentina and Santiago in Chile.
Through a press release, the airline informed that flights from Cibao International Airport will connect with these destinations through Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo in what has been called the new Caribbean Air Hub.
Connections from Santiago de los Caballeros to Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile will begin on November 2, while connections to Buenos Aires will begin on November 16.

“We continue to comply with Santiago and with the country, to make Arajet the airline of the Dominicans, so now the people of Cibao will have the facility to fly to these important cities in South America leaving directly from its airport and in the most efficient way and with the best price to Sao Paulo, Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires,” said Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet.
Connections from Santiago de los Caballeros to these South American destinations will be every Thursday and return flights will be every Monday; prices reportedly start at US$281 each way including taxes.
Currently, Arajet offers direct flights from the Santiago de los Caballeros Airport to Medellin and from October 30 to Bogota, both in Colombia; so in less than 60 days the Cibao citizens will have connections to 5 cities in South America.
