Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) announced that it will expand its short- and long-haul route network in the summer of 2024, adding two new long-haul destinations to be operated from Zurich and two new points within Europe.
New services to Washington DC and Toronto
The airline will offer a new daily service between Zurich and Washington DC next summer, which will operate year-round, starting March 28, 2024.

SWISS will also add Toronto in Canada to its route network as of May 10, 2024. The new service, tentatively planned for the summer, will be operated daily except Mondays and Wednesdays.
SWISS to expand its European network, too
In the summer of 2024, SWISS will expand its European route network with a new direct flight to and from Košice (Slovakia), which will operate three flights a week on Airbus A220 aircraft.
The airline will also operate a new, thrice-weekly service to and from Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in summer 2024.
The varied program of scheduled services that SWISS will operate from Zurich and Geneva in summer 2024 will extend to 113 destinations. Travelers from Zurich will be able to choose from 67 European and 24 intercontinental destinations, while those from Geneva will be able to travel non-stop to New York and choose from 43 short-haul destinations.
The 2024 summer program will run from March 31 to October 26, 2024.
