Avianca began direct flights to Cuzco and Tegucigalpa (through Palmerola Airport) from Bogota, Colombia on Monday.
Avianca announced that it will operate four frequencies between Bogota and Cuzco with an offer of more than 1,400 seats per week; and three frequencies between Bogota and Tegucigalpa (Palmerola) with more than 1,000 seats per week available. The two routes will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity for 180 passengers and a cabin with three different seating options: Premium, Plus and Economy.

These two new connections to Cuzco and Palmerola are avianca’s commitment to the connectivity of our region and a boost to tourism, especially during the high season that has already begun and will allow us to close the year with 26 new routes launched, eight new destinations in operation and an offer of 145 routes connecting to 74 destinations in 24 countries,” said David Alemán, Sales Director of Avianca South America and Colombia.
With these two new routes, in addition to Cuzco-La Paz and Quito-Orlando in Ecuador, the airline ratifies its commitment to connect more and better the skies of Latin America and promote tourism as a hub of dynamism in the region.
