The Civil Aeronautics presented this Monday its balance of passenger mobilization to and from Colombia’s air terminals, in the period January – September 2023.
According to figures provided by air operators, from January to September 2023, 35,960,000 passengers were mobilized. This represents an increase of 0.9% compared to the people mobilized in the same period of 2022, which in numbers means 308,000 more.
International passengers continue to grow. During this period, 14,274,000 were mobilized, which corresponds to an increase of 28.5% (3,168,000 more international passengers) compared to 2022.

During the month of September of this year, 4,037,000 people were transported, which means a growth of 2.1% compared to the same month of 2022.
Cargo Transportation
Airlines operating in Colombia transported 633,712 tons of cargo and mail during the January-September 2023 period, representing a decrease of 4.1% (27,073 tons less) compared to the same period in 2022.
