A Copa Airlines plane bound for Tampa, Florida, had to return Friday to Tocumen Airport (Panama) after a suspected bomb threat.
After landing at 10:59 a.m., the Boeing 737-800 was isolated and the 144 passengers on board disembarked for inspection of the aircraft, according to authorities.

After 12:30 p.m. it was ruled out that there was no explosion on the aircraft and it was indicated that a disposable adult diaper was the object that caused the alarm.
Flight 393 was rescheduled to take off from Panama at 14:12 (local time).
