Delta announces new non-stop route between Atlanta and Tulum

Delta Air Lines announced Friday that it will operate a new nonstop route from its Atlanta hub to the new Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum, Mexico, beginning March 28, 2024.

The new route will operate one daily flight year-round on 160-passenger Boeing 737-800 aircraft offering First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin options.

“Delta is uniquely positioned to offer customers convenient, direct access from the U.S. to Tulum, a premier leisure destination known for its boutique hotels, Mayan ruins and eco-friendly spirit,” said Vice President of Network Planning Joe Esposito.

Delta flies to more than 100 U.S. cities from Atlanta, which will allow for convenient one-stop connections to Tulum.

The new airport is expected to begin operations in December.

Next year, Delta customers will benefit from the company’s largest spring break program in Mexico, offering 10% more seats on 55 peak-day flights to eight cities across the country.
