KLM announced Monday that it will operate 157 winter destinations, 92 in Europe and 65 intercontinental.
The schedule, which runs from October 29, 2023 to Sunday, March 31, 2024, adds the French city of Marseille to the airline’s network. In addition, KLM will offer 20% more seats to Canada, compared to last year, and direct flights to Beijing and Shanghai will again operate daily.
It should be noted that the number of destinations is always somewhat lower in winter than in summer due to seasonal destinations.
Europe
As of October 29, the French city of Marseille will be served by three daily flights. As last winter, KLM will also fly to Rovaniemi (Finland) twice a week and to Rennes (France) once a day.
North America
This winter, KLM will fly to 19 destinations in North America (Canada, USA and Mexico).

In the U.S., the airline will offer daily flights to Washington. This means three more weekly flights than last winter.
It is also offering 20% more seats to Canada than last year. Weekly services will average 11 flights to Toronto, four flights to Montreal, three flights to Edmonton, seven flights to Calgary and four flights to Vancouver.
Caribbean and Suriname
KLM will fly daily to Curaçao, and in the peak period (Christmas and spring vacations) the island will be served 11 times a week. On the flight to Aruba combined with Bonaire, it will fly daily with the Airbus A330-200 or A330-300, as in summer 2023. St Maarten will be combined with Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago) with three to four weekly flights. Paramaribo (Suriname) will have six weekly flights with the Boeing 777-300.
South America
KLM flies daily to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Panama. Buenos Aires will be combined with Santiago de Chile, as last year. San José (Costa Rica) four times a week, direct or with stopover. There are also six weekly flights to Lima (Peru), Quito and Guayaquil (Ecuador).
Africa
The airline flies daily to two destinations in South Africa: Johannesburg and Cape Town. There are also daily flights to Nairobi and Accra. Passengers will have the option of flying to three destinations in Tanzania this winter: five times a week to Kilimanjaro in combination with Dar es Salaam. There are also two flights to Zanzibar in combination with Dar es Salaam. KLM flies six times a week to Lagos (Nigeria), and to Kigali (Rwanda) and Entebbe (Uganda) with five flights a week this winter.
Asia and the Middle East
In Asia, the route to Taipei combined with a return to Manila (four times a week) and stopovers in Seoul and Bangkok has been eliminated.
– Beijing and Shanghai (China) will have daily flights.
– Hong Kong will have direct flights four times a week this winter.
– Flights to and from Tokyo Narita (Japan) will be operated daily nonstop, and the route to Osaka will be served three times a week.
– Seoul (South Korea) will have six weekly flights.
– One daily flight to Bali with a stopover in Singapore.
– Five weekly flights to Jakarta (Indonesia) with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
– One daily flight to Bangkok (Thailand).
– In India, Mumbai and Delhi have daily flights and there is a flight to Bengaluru five times a week.
– Dubai will be served daily.
KLM is increasing capacity on the route to Riyadh and Damman that was launched last year. These destinations will be flown six times a week.
The intercontinental destinations that KLM will stop flying to this winter are Barbados, Kuwait, Bahrain and Muscat. The capacity of these flights will be used on other routes.
