Viva Aerobus announced that it will strengthen the international connectivity of the state of Guanajuato with a new route between Leon and Dallas Fort Worth, which will begin operating on December 8 with three flights a week.
Tickets are available at fares starting at USD$79 for a single trip plus the Airport Use Tax (TUA).
With this new route, which will operate three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), Viva Aerobus makes access to Guanajuato even easier, bringing the total number of routes to nine, four of them international, connecting León with Ciudad Juárez, Cancún, Mérida, Monterrey, Tijuana, Houston, Chicago, San Antonio and, soon, Dallas Fort Worth.

The airline also announced that it will increase the number of flights per week on the rest of its routes from Leon to the United States. Starting in December, Viva will operate between four and five flights per week on its route to Houston, between two and three flights per week to San Antonio and, temporarily from November to December, up to three flights per week on its route to Chicago O’Hare. Subsequently, between June and July 2024, it will again increase capacity to offer one daily flight to Houston, four weekly flights to San Antonio and three weekly flights to Chicago O’Hare.
“Connecting Dallas with Leon, at low prices, on modern aircraft and point-to-point flights, allows us to provide a convenient and accessible option for many more people to meet the growing demand for leisure travel, visits to family and friends, as well as business trips. At the same time, we are helping to position Guanajuato in the U.S. market,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva Aerobus.
