Following the decision of the state-owned airline Satena to suspend operations on the Bogotá – Caracas – Bogotá route, Wingo has signed a protection agreement with said company in order to transport passengers who had opted for its services on said route.

The agreement will allow travelers to transfer their reservations to Wingo in order to continue with their travel plans between Colombia and Venezuela without any inconvenience. In this way, the hundreds of passengers who had purchased their tickets with Satena will be able to use this alternative as a solution.

It is important to point out that this protection agreement will cover flights in October, November and December 2023, as these are the dates that Satena reached to market the suspended route.

Interested passengers should only contact Satena’s points of contact, who will be in charge of transferring the reservation to Wingo.

Wingo reiterated its commitment to the reactivation of the air market between Colombia and Venezuela, where it is the only Colombian airline operating the Bogotá – Caracas – Bogotá route, with three frequencies per week.
