Aerolíneas Argentinas announced this Monday its expanded flight offer for the summer with important news, and presented a new international route that will link Córdoba and Asunción.
For the summer season, there will be 15 daily flights to Bariloche, 20 daily flights to Córdoba, 8 daily flights to Mar del Plata, 14 daily to Mendoza, 10 daily to Salta, 11 daily to El Calafate, 6 daily to Rosario, 5 daily to Trelew / Madryn, 7 daily to Tucumán, 11 daily to Ushuaia, 5 daily to Jujuy, 9 daily to Iguazú, 6 daily to Resistencia/Corrientes, 7 daily to Neuquén and 7 daily to Comodoro Rivadavia.
In addition, as from April, Formosa will increase from 12 weekly frequencies to 16, Merlo from 2 weekly to 4, Santiago del Estero from 12 to 16, San Luis from 9 to 12, Santa Fe from 10 to 17, Río Cuarto from 4 to 6, Corrientes from 10 to 12, Viedma from 4 to 6, Posadas from 18 to 25, San Juan from 19 to 21, Río Gallegos from 15 to 17, Paraná from 8 to 9, Santa Rosa from 6 to 9 and Río Grande from 12 to 14. In turn, La Rioja and Catamarca will have 12 weekly frequencies, but with direct or pure flights.

In total, 3,343,000 seats will be available for the peak season. This represents an increase of 9% versus 2023 and 8% versus 2019. For the full year, the supply will be 14,765,000 seats, an increase of 12% versus 2023 and 19% versus 2019.
“We are closing an excellent year with record passengers and we are aiming for an even better 2024. We are flying more and more, doing it in a more efficient way without executing the budget allocated by the State for this year. And we did it, in addition, having added fleet and making investments in different strategic areas”, explained Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
In the international routes, the following flights stand out: Córdoba-Río de Janeiro and Córdoba-Florianópolis with 3 flights per week, Mendoza-Río de Janeiro with 2 weekly flights and Buenos Aires-Florianópolis with 7 weekly flights. Also, an extra weekly flight to Cancun (from 4 to 5), Punta Cana from 3 to 4 and Salvador de Bahia, which has 5 weekly flights, will be operated with Airbus A330. It is also worth mentioning the start of the Montevideo-Bariloche and Montevideo-Mar del Plata flights, in both cases with 2 weekly flights.
On the other hand, a new international destination was presented, since as from April, the route between Córdoba and Asunción (Paraguay) will be operated. There will be 2 weekly frequencies on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Finally, as from April, the route to Lima will increase from 7 to 10 weekly, Bogotá from 7 to 10, Porto Alegre from 6 to 12, Asunción from 10 to 14, Santiago de Chile from 26 to 24 and Curitiba from 4 to 6.a
