“Our main demands are, firstly, to resume psychological assistance to the families of those missing on that flight as soon as possible and re-establish the family liaison agency; secondly, in accordance with the ‘Special Drawing Rights’ of the Montreal Convention, the priority should be to pay the relatives,” said Jiang Hui, representative of the relatives, expressing hope that, through the court hearing, they will get the support they deserve.

In March 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, carrying 227 passengers, 154 of them Chinese, departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport bound for Beijing Capital International Airport, but disappeared before arriving. The exact cause of the plane’s disappearance is still unknown.
