Aerolineas Argentinas closes 2023 with record passengers transported

Aerolíneas Argentinas will end the year with the highest record of passengers transported in its history, with more than 13,800,000. This figure surpasses the previous record of 12,990,000 achieved in 2019.

In the domestic market, almost 11,000,000 passengers were transported, while the regional flight network contributed 1,800,000 passengers, with the operation of flights to Brazil standing out. The number is completed with flights to and from the USA, the Caribbean and Europe. In total, the company averaged an 84% occupancy rate.

Fabián Lombardo, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas, who until last week was the company’s Commercial Director, said: ‘We worked very hard to achieve this figure: from the commercial side by putting the offer where we see business opportunities and from the operational side by being efficient and providing a quality service’.

For this last long weekend of the year, Aerolíneas Argentinas will transport 191,000 passengers between today and the first day of 2024. The most popular destinations are Bariloche, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Iguazú, Córdoba, Mendoza, Salta, Río de Janeiro, Tucumán and Sao Paulo.
