Starting December 15, 2023, Avianca will offer a new Business Class experience with a unique selection of gastronomy, wellness and design that represents the best of Colombia: a menu by chef Álvaro Clavijo -available on the airline’s flights departing from Bogota to Europe- and an Amenity Kit for those traveling between Colombia and the old continent.
Gastronomy is part of this experience, with a menu designed by chef Álvaro Clavijo, owner of El Chato restaurant, located in Bogotá and selected in 2023 as one of the best by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. As he does in his restaurant, Clavijo will present proposals based on local ingredients with preparations designed to be enjoyed at 36,000 feet above sea level.

In addition to the comfort that has characterized the Business Class seats, Avianca now offers an Amenity Kit with collectible Mola Sasa cases, designed in collaboration with women from the Gunadule indigenous community and made with fabric from recycled PET bottles. The result of this balance between sustainable and inclusive practices is a colorful accessory that enhances the traditions of Colombia.
Each Amenity Kit includes products from Loto del Sur, a local brand that combines good design, the essence of nature and culture to create powerful formulations that contain the best of Latin America.
