Brazil’s GOL will add Bogota as a new international destination as of March 2024, with direct flights from Sao Paulo (Guarulhos) and Buenos Aires (Ezeiza), with the aim of increasingly integrating the countries of the region and promoting business and tourism travel.
The Sao Paulo-Bogota route will begin on March 31, 2024 with four weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).
The Buenos Aires-Bogota route will begin on April 1, 2024 with four weekly frequencies, increasing to one daily flight as of July 24.
“On this date we mark a crucial step in uniting three hubs in South America’s largest domestic markets: São Paulo, Bogota and Buenos Aires. This operation is the beginning of a three-way cooperation between the most relevant regional airline operators: GOL, Avianca and Aerolíneas Argentinas. This strategy will allow the main local players, with their distinct advantages developed in Brazil, Colombia and Argentina, to serve business and leisure customers looking for modern aircraft, affordable tickets and a complete network of connections in each of their destinations,” said Mateus Pongeluppi, Chief Strategy Officer of GOL.
GOL currently operates in 12 airports outside Brazil: Asunción, Buenos Aires (Ezeiza and Aeroparque), Córdoba, Mendoza, Rosario, Montevideo, Orlando, Paramaribo, Punta Cana, Miami and Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
