Iberia takes delivery of its twenty-first Airbus A350
Spain’s Iberia took delivery of its twenty-first Airbus A350, which has been named Real Academia Española.
The name chosen to name the new aircraft responds to the link that Iberia maintains with people or institutions related to culture, as is the case of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE). This gesture is intended to acknowledge the work carried out by the Academy in protecting the Spanish language and the airline’s connection as a disseminator of the Spanish image and language around the world.
